SINOCHRON®Motors for Textile Machines
ABM SINOCHRON®Motors are permanently excited synchronous motors. In contrast to commonly used induction motors, synchronous motors excel with outstanding efficiency, great power density and compact size. Traditional synchronous motors require speed sensors for operation with servo controls or frequency inverters.
The SINOCHRON®Motor’s unique design is perfectly suited for sensorless, controlled operation and offers an economical alternative to expensive servo drives. At the same it distinguishes itself with higher dynamics and better efficiency than induction motors.
Simple rotor design, with embedded high performance magnets, allow more economical manufacturing of SINOCHRON®Motors without major impact on power density and control behavior.
Sinusoidal magnetic flux minimizes troublesome cogging and improves rotational behavior and noise emissions compared to conventional permanent magnet motors.
